Matt is a lifelong Richmond resident. Matt grew up in Hanover where he graduated from Atlee High School. Matt then attended VCU and graduated with a degree in history and a Master’s in Teaching. During this period Matt lived all around the Richmond area, falling in love with its various neighborhoods and local restaurants.
After graduating, Matt taught at George Wythe High School in Richmond’s Southside and at Highland Springs High School in Henrico’s East End. Matt was an accomplished teacher and coach throughout his years of teaching, helping his student athletes win numerous awards and state titles. The most important and fulfilling part was watching hundreds of these young men and women go off to college or trade schools and blossom into adults.
Matt has been a realtor since 2015, first with another local brokerage, leading an award winning team and gaining vast amounts of experience and knowledge of the local real estate market. Matt became a member of the Hogan Group in 2020 and continues to work with whole hearted enthusiasm in facilitating his client’s dreams of home ownership. Whether it is their first home or their 20th home, Matt works diligently for his clients in insuring the purchase or sale of their home is an easy and exciting transition into the next stages of their lives.

Ashlee was raised in Bedford County, VA, and earned a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Longwood University (so she really understands that love and appeal to small town living). She has spent the past 10 years teaching Biology in Chesterfield County, and decided that now was the time to pursue her love of real estate. Carrying over her teaching skills into the real estate market, Ashlee is fantastic with organization and attention to detail, and can think quickly to solve any problems that come along the way. She enjoys helping her clients understand their real estate transaction so that they can be confident in the process and trust that she's working hard behind the scenes to get the best deal possible. She has experienced the reality of relocating and buying a home in a completely unfamiliar town, but she also experienced the reality of selling that home that you put so much love into in order to buy (build) the next house of your dreams. She understands the fear of the unknown, and is excited to help you with what you need!
In her free time, she and her husband raise chickens (who have more attitude than Kanye) and 2 dogs who prefer Christmas sweaters and bow ties over leashes and collars.
